Superfood Green Smoothie


  • 1 C Dairy Free Milk (Unsweetened Almond, Coconut, Soy or Blend)

  • 1/2 large ripe banana

  • 1/2 c baby spinach or kale

  • 1/4 ripe avocado

  • 1/2 english cucumber

  • 1 tsp fresh cut peeled ginger

  • 1 Tbls organic hemp seeds

  • 1/2 Tbls organic chia seeds 1/2 C ice


1.) Start with dairy free milk as base and add ice next, then remaining ingredients to Vitamix* or blender and mix on medium-high speed until smooth, green, and blended well.

2.) Serve cold, garnish with fresh pineapple, and enjoy!

Health Benefits:

Avocados: The blend of ingredients all promote healthy digestion! Avocados contain healthy fat, boost satiety, and help maintain a healthy weight.

English cucumbers: slightly more sweet, contain less seeds, making ti easier to digest (because the seeds contain cucurbitacin, a chemical compound that makes regular cucumber more difficult to digest), and they do not have the wax coating traditional cucumbers have also.

Bananas: are a great source of potassium, increases fiber intake, and promotes energy.
